Frerault Expertises was founded in Savoie in 1972 and has only ever done one thing: value property. The firm does not broker, manage or develop, so its conclusions serve nobody but the party who commissions them.
Fees are set on time spent, never as a percentage of the value reported. There is therefore no mechanism by which the firm gains from a higher figure, which is the first question any court, lender or tax inspector will ask.

The firm works from Chambéry, where it is based, and from Annecy, Lyon, Paris and Aix-en-Provence, across mainland France, the overseas departments and the Principality of Monaco.
Its valuers are listed with the courts of appeal, belong to the CNEJI and the CNCEJ, and are RICS members and Recognised European Valuers under TEGoVA. Instructions are accepted from private clients, companies, institutions, banks, lawyers, notaires and the courts.

Work follows the RICS Red Book, the European Valuation Standards issued by TEGoVA, and the Charte de l'expertise en évaluation immobilière, the French professional framework.
In 2025 the firm was ranked « Incontournable », the top tier of the Décideurs and Leaders League ranking of judicial experts in commerce, and appears in the institutional and private investor rankings.
